Today, team 2472 is announcing that we are preparing to move our current location in the Woodshop to a new room which will have a woodshop portion and a complete computer lab portion. Everyone will have more room especially IT, CAD, Media, and Programming, who were confined to 5 PC's. This new room should help expediate development of Robotics Operating Systems, New Website Updates, faster completion of CAD drawings, and perhaps even a faster build season.

On September 30th, the Centurions participated in the Centennial High School's Homecoming Parade, an attempt at recruitment as well as just to show off our robots and such. The robots were placed on trailers and pulled by a truck around the parade area. During the parade, a few of the team members who came along in the parade were throwing out candy to those watching. After the Homecoming parade, the team then procceded to take a break before the game, where they would be using the T-Shirt Cannon to shoot them into the audience as a way to recruit new members as well.

After two days of intense competition, defeats and triumphs, and robotic failures, Team 2472 managed to pull into second place in the Minnesota State Fair competition. The game was both simple and challenging, including games such as parking your robot, stacking tubes, not just putting tubes on the rack but taking them off, and Minibot Deployment.
