We have just completed our virtual judging session and it went great! We are now pulling or drive team together and putting the finishing touches on our robot. We will soon be taking videos to show the judges how the robot works and it moving by itself. This year has been a blessing in disguise. With being able to continues to work on our robot from last year. Our new team members have been able to learn a lot and continue to learn how to make a robot and how it works.
As we near the normal competition season, our team has been checking things off our to-do list left and right. The team has been preparing for the video submissions required for this year's virtual competition. The mechanical team has added air tanks to the robot and removed the turret.
We got so many new people this year we don't know what to do. Everyone has found their department that they like and have gotten straight to work. Today we have the programmers learning new code and the mechanical organizing the robot parts and in turn learning how the robot and parts work.
We are back and we are finally able to begin meeting in person one day a week. We are so excited for all the new faces showing up, everyone is following all safety protocols, and getting back into the swing of things.
