CAD
The CAD team is in charge of making a 3-D model of the robot. First the team gets together and makes a plan for the robot. Talking about and taking notes for what parts are needed to build the robot. Once the final decisions are in they get started right away. Before the mechanical team can do anything, CAD needs to get the 3-D model for the robot done. Once CAD gets the 3-D model for the robot done, they split off and join other departments.
Over the years the need for people able to use CAD has grown. With the increase in technology of the world, this number will only continue to grow. Some jobs that use CAD are: Building Design, Microchip Design, Specifying details for Scientists, Surveyors, Engineers or Architects, Electrical or Mechanical Planning, Manufacturing of missiles and aircraft.
