Media
The media is mainly in charge of running our social media. They take pictures for the web site and social media, keep the school's site up to date, design logos for t-shirts and buttons as well as posters. They also set up fundraisers and events. They are in charge of contacting companies for events or sponsors. The media team communicates with all the departments; getting information to keep people in the team and outside the team up to date.
Not only does the media team have to keep in constant communication within their own department and the others, but they are always talking to the mentors; making sure that the team's image is good. They keep track of all the team's files and keep the computers organized. In their free time they go to the storage area and keep the equipment and paper files organized.
At competitions, the media people are all working behind the scenes. They go around taking pictures and doing other tasks that need to get done.
Media people can go into many different career fields. A media person depending on what they did most while on the team may go into: HR, Graphic Design, Web Design, Public Relations Specialist, Technical Writer, Content Strategist, and Social Media Specialist. People who have graduated from our team have gone to school for graphic design.
