Programing

The Programming team is in charge of getting the robot operational. First they work with the team to find out what needs to be programmed. They start right away with writing the code.

Once they have the code ready and the electrical has the wires on the robot, they start to test the code. Getting all the bugs out and seeing what they still need to code. At competitions, the programmers are always in the pit recodeing the robot and fixing it, adding code to new parts of the robot that has just been added or changing it so that it fits with the other teams.

Programmers' career field is in high demand. A programmer has a big career field full of options to choose from such as: Software Application Developer, Web Developer, Computer Systems Engineer, Database Administrator, and Business Intelligence Analyst. People who have graduated from our team have gone to work for Target’s IT team and have been offered internships at big companies.
